Ricky was born in Memphis but raised in Junction City, Kansas. Ricky excelled in football and baseball and attended Hutchinson Community College on a football scholarship and became a Junior College All American. Ricky decided to join the US Navy where he spent 13 years in Navy Recruiting Leadership and retired after 20 years of service as a Chief Petty Officer. Ricky has held various leadership positions in student recruitment at various colleges since retiring from the Navy; after doing this for 10 years he decided he wanted to do something else in life.

Ricky became interested in Financial Services while serving in the US Navy. On his 1 st deployment in 1987 he began reading financial books and educating himself on habits of wealthy people and how the ordinary person can accumulate wealth.  This knowledge is what motivates him to help others gain the knowledge and education to understand and then choose to make beneficial financial decisions. Clearly educating and relating common knowledge to his clients is the angle he uses to help clients. Time and patience are the key to success. Ricky is married and has 6 children.
